The Colasuonno’s – 12/6/15

I’ve known the Colasuonno’s for some time now. Shawn and I used to work together, and I worked as a volunteer and photographer at his annual charity golf tournament, which is where I met his wife Kelly and their sons Connor and Cameron. They recently moved to Colorado, so I thought shooting their family pictures at Red Rocks would be a nice treat… and it was! They happily followed me around, hiked some trails, and positioned themselves for some great shots. We even saw a herd of deer on one of the slopes. The Colasuonno’s are such a cool family, and it was an honor to shoot their family photos!

Thank you so much Sara for an amazing time capturing our crazy family at such a beautiful location. We had a blast with you…can’t wait to take more…” – Shawn

The Schueller’s and Leibfried’s – 11/26/15

Every other year my husband and I head back to his home state of Iowa for Thanksgiving. A few days before we were to leave, a good childhood friend of his called him up and asked if I was interested in taking some family photos while I was in town. I hadn’t planned on bringing my camera, but I figured I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to add to my portfolio. We shot the photos on a cold, miserable, rainy Thanksgiving morning. Even with the weather working against us, I was still able to capture some great images!

Sara did an amazing job capturing our family photos at our log cabin on a rainy Thanksgiving morning in Wisconsin. We scheduled her last minute on a holiday & she was so accommodating. Sara was very open to our ideas & had a great eye for what we didn’t even see. Highly recommended!!!” – Sara Leibfried

The Gardner’s – 11/21/15

This was the second shoot of the day on Saturday, November 21. I have to say that Aaron, Tracy, Johnny and even their pup Rio made my job easy because of how photogenic they are! Talk about a handsome family! We met up at their home in Castle Rock and drove to a park and then downtown Castle Rock to capture these images. Even though two shoots made for a long day, it was well worth it!

Sara was so easy to work with and captured some really beautiful moments for our family. She has an eye for beautiful backgrounds that I would undoubtedly overlook. I appreciated that she let us give our input for ideas and she was so flexible to travel to 2 locations to get some good shots. I would highly recommend Sara!” – Tracy

The MacKlingere’s – 11/21/15

I’ve been in search of tall, yellow grass (that’s what’s in with family outdoor photoshoots), and I was happy to find some near an entrance to Cherry Creek State Park. Colleen, Mike, and Alex braved the cold weather with me to get some pretty awesome family photos in the snow. I’m so happy with how these turned out!

Sara has an amazing eye for detail and capturing the happiest instance of precious moments. Sara had very creative ideas to capture a fun side of my daughter rather than a stiff pose. We love the photos!” – Colleen

The Kime’s – 11/1/15

Samantha and I used to work together in our past lives, so when she found out I was leaving the corporate world behind to take on this new adventure, she signed up immediately. In fact, she was the very first shoot I did! So, I owe it to her for helping me get this ball rolling. Her two boys, Logan and Mason, were fun to capture memories of!

Sara has a great eye for photos and was wonderful to work with! Very kind and patient (we have 2 young boys!) and she took her time to get just the right shots. We are in love with all of our photos from our shoot! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful photos! We look forward to working with Sara again!!” – Samantha
